Spring 17

26th May - Poo Patrol Big Spray Day. Bristol University, Bristol Waste Company and the Clean Streets Campaign will be supporting primary schools and communities to highlight the scale and health risk associated with dog fouling across the city. Summer 17

10th June - Kitchen Garden "Get Growing" Day 11am to 3pm. One of our major open days for with plants, flowers and vegetables for sale in aid of further development of the community garden. Tea and cakes will be available on the veranda and a chance to witness the amazing work the volunteers have achieved over a wide range of garden activities.

26th June - Our Annual General Meeting at 7pm in the Museum Picture Room. The guest speaker will be Richard Bland from Friends of Clifton Down. His theme: "The future of Parks in Bristol". With Council Officials also attending and everyone feeling the effects of cuts on Parks expenditure, this could start some lively debate.

July - Committee Meeting. All welcome to attend to put their point of view or simply hear about the current hot topics for discussion.

29th July - Archaeology Day 11am to 4pm. Immerse yourself in ancient history both inside and outside the Museum with re-enactments and displays of Saxon and Roman life in the area. Included will be a trip to the castle where there will be an illustrated talk on the history of Castle Hill with a local expert.

30th July - Bristol Concert Wind Band 1.30 to 3.30pm performing once again due to popular demand, in the Dairy Garden.


Autumn 17

9th September - Goram Fair and Open Doors day in the Dairy, Kitchen Garden and Castle. More detail to follow.

October - Committee Meeting. All welcome to attend to put their point of view or simply hear about the current hot topics for discussion.

November - Bonfire night, complete with Guy Fawkes and fireworks. Firepit and mulled wine provided to keep warm! Members only event.


Winter 17/18

December - Christmas Craft Day where all the family can get involved in making your own Christmas decorations. Hot drinks and cakes will be offered.
